degradable
In the UK, Symphony markets both its pro-degradant additive as well as a very wide variety of totally degradable finished products under the d2w registered trademark.
Whilst the majority of finished products are printed to customers specification using their identity, some ranges are available for direct retail sale under the d2w brand label.

Whether sold by Symphony as finished products or whether made by extruders using d2w pro-degradant additive, the range of materials which can be totally degradable is extremely wide and is constantly increasing as further development and testing takes place. In general terms, this includes
- All flexible and semi rigid plastic products made from polyethylene and polypropylene
- Virgin, recycled or blends of these polymers
- Plastics extruded by blown or by cast methods and including BOPP (biaxially orientated polypropylene)
- Single, multi layered or laminated materials
Although by no means an exhaustive list, the principle applications at this time in the UK are bags and sacks - including supermarket vest and other retail carrier bags, refuse and other black sacks, bin liners and other white bags.
- Packaging - especially for bread, produce and other foodstuffs.
- Healthcare - including aprons and bin liners.
- Stretch and shrink wrap.
- Reel films - mailing film
