Supply Chain Management and staff are based at our Head Office in Borehamwood, Herts.

Management of the Supply Chain is aided by IT systems to ensure optimum stock holding whilst maximising customer service levels. The lead-times involved when manufacturing in the Far East make effective planning vital and daily communication with the factories ensures that orders are shipped on time to meet customer expectations. In addition, working closely with customers to forecast future demand enables Symphony to plan shipments and stock levels effectively.

In order to provide the most competitive and efficient service, most goods are transported from the Far East by sea freight to Felixstowe, in Suffolk. Once customs cleared, containers are delivered to the Distribution Centre in Thetford, which is only a short distance from the port. This enables prompt unloading of goods for onward delivery.
